Joe Blecha is a product manager for Trimble’s Geospatial Office Software Group based in Westminster, Colorado, United States. With an educational background in engineering and landscape architecture, Joe began his career surveying and drafting for an international construction company based in Chicago, Illinois, where he worked on large infrastructure projects like the O’Hare International Airport Modernization Program in Chicago and the Ohio River Bridge projects in Louisville, Kentucky. Joe’s been with Trimble for five years, two with TBC, three with Trimble Geospatial Support. In his (limited) free time, Joe likes to hike in the Rocky Mountains with his wife, Katherine, and two young kids, Jack and Nora. Having lost an already below-average golf swing, Joe hopes to regain some form on the links in the summer of 2019.
In an industry of increasing complexity, software needs to become more powerful and flexible than ever before. Trimble Business Center is an advanced software package that combines all the tools required to work with your fleet of Trimble hardware; be it generating deliverables for land surveyors, generating designs to send to earth moving machinery in real-time, or as a QA tool for volume analysis.
This presentation will cover some of the new features included in TBC 5.00, which combined the construction and geospatial versions of the package to create an even more versatile product.
